Last Updated: October 4, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and HyperHU.site ("HyperHU," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of the website https://hyperhu.site/ and our free online unit converter tool (the "Service"). By accessing, browsing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

2. Description of the Service

The Service is a free, web-based tool that enables users to perform unit conversions across categories such as length, mass, temperature, area, volume, speed, time, and currency. Features include client-side calculations for most conversions, real-time currency rates via third-party APIs, dark mode, 3D animations, and mobile responsiveness. The Service is provided "as is" for informational and personal use, with no warranties of accuracy for critical applications (e.g., medical or financial decisions).

Users must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

The Service is ad-supported to remain free. Ads are served via third-party networks (e.g., Google AdSense) and may collect anonymized data as per their policies.

3. User Accounts and Registration

The Service does not require user registration or accounts. All features are accessible anonymously. If we introduce account-based features in the future, additional terms will apply, including verification and password security requirements.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service in a lawful, responsible manner and solely for its intended purpose. Prohibited activities include:

You are responsible for your inputs and the accuracy of conversions for your purposes. We are not liable for errors in user-entered data or third-party API rates (e.g., currency fluctuations).

We reserve the right to monitor usage for compliance and suspend or terminate access without notice for violations.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Ownership: The Service, including all text, graphics, logos, 3D animations, scripts (e.g., conversion algorithms), and software, is owned by HyperHU or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Your Ownership: You retain all rights to any data you input (e.g., conversion values) and outputs generated. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, royalty-free, worldwide license to process your inputs client-side for the duration of your session.

Trademarks: "HyperHU" and related marks are our property. You may not use them without permission.

Feedback: Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide becomes our property, and we may use it without compensation or attribution.

6. Fees and Payment

The Service is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or premium tiers in the future, which would be subject to separate terms. Any payments would be processed securely via third-party providers, with refunds governed by their policies.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimers: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of conversions, or uninterrupted availability. Currency rates from third-party APIs may be delayed or inaccurate; we disclaim liability for financial losses therefrom. We do not endorse outputs for high-stakes uses (e.g., engineering, medicine).

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, HyperHU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD (or equivalent).

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability) and even if advised of the possibility of damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so they may not apply to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to the Service, or for operational reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections like IP Rights, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability survive.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive objections to venue.

For users in the EU/UK, GDPR provides additional protections; we encourage amicable resolution before litigation. No class actions or jury trials are permitted; disputes must be individual.

10. Miscellaneous Provisions

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at Contact Us or legal@hyperhu.site.
